Although it’s locked in a cold war with Instagram Stories, Snapchat — with 8,796 photos shared every second — isn’t going anywhere. The disappearing video pioneer has maintained its competitive edge with a global audience that boasts over 150 million daily active users.

For marketers looking to take advantage of every social media platform possible, Snapchat offers a massive audience within a potentially lucrative demographic: over half of its users are under the age of 25.
