Jonathan Allen is a search and social marketing specialist and formerly the Director of the award winning search engine news publication, Search Engine Watch.
Under Jonathan’s stewardship, Search Engine Watch grew from 600,000 pageviews a month to over 1.4 million and in May 2012, won the Gold Azbee National Award for “Online Excellence, New or Relaunched Web Site” from the American Society of Business Press Editors.
Before Search Engine Watch, Jonathan co-founded Moblog:tech and the smartphone photography community Moblog — an early player in mobile social media. In 2009, Moblog won the Experimental & Innovation Webby award for a collaborative mapping project with Shozu and in 2008, Moblog:tech’s build of Channel 4′s Big Art Mob won the community engagement award at MediaGuardian Awards for Innovation (MEGAS), The Royal Television Society’s On The Move Award, and 3 BAFTA nominations.
Jonathan has spoken at the largest digital marketing conferences in the world — SES New York, SES San Francisco, SES London, SES Chicago — as well as PubCon, KoreaComm and SIPA. He has also provided industry commentary on breaking news for the BBC, the Boston Globe and Deutsche Welle.
A partner of Columbia Entrepreneurship at the Columbia Startup Lab and a 2010 graduate of Columbia University (CC’10), Cooper oversees a growing international team that works around the clock to get clients results. He has extensive leadership and team-building experience from his time as the CMO of a real estate startup. He excels as a marketer and strategist — qualities he refined and developed as the founder of e-commerce businesses in the sports and subscription spaces. With the founding of L&T, Cooper brings these strategies and insights to companies worldwide. He participates in Princeton University’s Employer in Residence program, serves on the Columbia Startup Lab’s leadership committee, and speaks on industry panels about entrepreneurship, marketing, and startups. On occasion, he teaches web marketing at General Assembly.
As L&T's COO, Remy directs client strategy and project delivery across three offices on two continents. A member of the Forbes New York Business Council and a founding member of the Columbia University Startup Lab, he previously worked in the editorial departments at Publishers Weekly and S&P Global. A guest expert for the National Business Education Association, National Association of Realtors, and TBG's PR Stars Program, Remy has a wealth of experience executing content marketing, digital transformation, and brand marketing strategies for our clients. He also regularly contributes commentary on the latest in digital to publications such as Entrepreneur, business.com, and Social Media Today.
An experienced writer, editor, and strategist, Margot produces high-quality content for a diverse set of B2B and higher education clients. Before L&T, she worked with a boutique brand strategy team that advised companies like eHarmony, Verizon Ventures, and Walmart Technology. Margot holds a B.A. in Environmental Studies from Yale University, where — other than conducting some original research about food security in Connecticut — her life was eerily close to the plot of Pitch Perfect.
Since earning a degree in Religious Studies from Occidental College, Thomas has dedicated himself to preaching the content gospel. He originally joined L&T as a freelance staff writer, but has since transitioned into his current role, wherein he writes for a wide variety of clients and helps craft content direction for a chosen few. In his spare time, Thomas enjoys reading philosophy, supporting Everton FC, and frequenting all of New York City’s finest cinemas.
Having originally joined the company as a writer in 2013, Oliver currently works as a full-time member of L&T's sales team to prospect, nurture and help close leads. He has partnered with multiple Fortune 500 companies, international organizations, and educational institutions to develop custom marketing programs. For organizations large and small, he's always been 100% committed to identifying and executing a strategy that generates meaningful results. Oliver is a graduate of the University of Liverpool and is a prolific musician and author.
A recent graduate of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with an M.S. in Technology Commercialization and Entrepreneurship and a B.S. in Electronic Media, Arts, and Communication, Tiffany designs captivating graphic content for a variety of L&T clients. In the past, she has worked in a wide variety of industries, including defense, public relations, and custom screen printing. Tiffany enjoys live music, documentaries, and occasionally flying planes.
Prior to joining L&T, Will managed experiential ad production at Colossal Media Group, shepherding projects across the finish line for the likes of Google, Nike, and Skidmore Owings & Merrill. A graduate of Skidmore College and the New School’s creative writing program, Carlisle is an experienced project manager and wordsmith with an eye for great writing. When he’s not checking boxes, you might find him playing petanque, pastry-loading, or trout fishing.
A current graduate student in creative writing at the University of Cambridge, Kendra writes for a broad array of L&T's clients in industries ranging from healthcare to manufacturing. She has consulted for tech startups in California and Washington, D.C. on editorial and brand strategy development. With a degree in philosophy and literature from Santa Clara University, she is a lover of poetry, vegan Thai food, documentary films, and arguing about Nietzsche.
Originally hailing from Uruguay and a graduate of Universidad ORT, Andrés runs design and web development at L&T, generating original, interactive graphics and designing professional publications across a range of industries. In the past, he has also done work for countless major brands, including Google, Coors Light, Lego, Axe, Nissan, Samsung, Electric Factory, and Salesforce. His other interests include surfing and film photography.
After graduating from the University of the Basque Country with a degree in advertising, Eli previously worked as an Art Director in Chile. Since Eli joined L&T’s Bilbao office in 2018 as a web designer and developer, she has built multiple publications for a diverse array of client. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, arts, music, and sushi.
Before graduating from Dartmouth College, Madeline studied English and Italian literature, edited the arts section of the campus newspaper, worked as an Italian tutor, and completed a senior honors thesis on Emily Dickinson. At L&T, she’s translated her passion for language — no pun intended — into success in her role writing and managing social media for clients across multiple industries. When she’s not at work, you’ll find her reading, running, or enjoying the perks of moving back to civilization after four years in the New Hampshire wilderness (even though she does miss the trees).
After studying creative writing at Johns Hopkins University, Alexa went on to teach English in France. She then worked as a copywriter for a student exchange company for several years, where she had the chance to lead high school programs to both Poland and the South of France. In her current role at L&T, she writes and manages social media for a variety of clients on topics ranging from healthcare to logistics. When she’s not creating transformative content for L&T, Alexa loves to explore New York City, play board games, and travel to new places.
Kip studied creative writing at Johns Hopkins University, and went on to earn a poetry MFA at the University of Michigan. She has since taught college writing courses and worked for nonprofits. She first joined L&T as a freelance writer, and now enjoys creating content for a wide variety of clients. In her free time she reads about the end of the world, writes poetry, and is developing a puppet play.
Originally from Uruguay, María graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Textile Design and Fashion from the Universidad de la República, where she also completed Market Technician Studies. Prior to joining L&T, she managed supply chain operations for large brands and retailers at one of the top commercial export companies in South America. There, she worked with partners in countries such as Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Peru and Mexico. Maria is an inherently restless person who nevertheless loves embroidery, origami, and playing Scrabble.
After receiving a degree in Creation & Design at the University of the Basque Country, Olaia previously worked as graphic designer at an advertising agency in Spain. At L&T, her work varies between website UX and design projects to custom illustrations and print layouts. In her free time, she likes watching TV, drawing, walking on the beach, and traveling to new places.
A graduate of the University of the Basque Country with a degree in Creation and Design. Carlota works on web development and graphic design projects at L&T. Before joining the company, she worked at a number of design agencies while focusing on packaging, branding, and illustration. In her free time, she enjoys doing calligraphy, watching the latest TV series, and having a good time with her dog, Kyra.
Jakira is a native New Yorker who absolutely adores her city. She has a degree in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University, and also spent a semester abroad at the Warwick Business School studying business management with a focus in marketing. Her educational background led her to roles at Google, Credit Suisse and Vox Media, where she worked on various talent strategy and branding projects. A not-so-secret beauty junkie, she spends her spare time curating beauty content for The Reign XY as the site’s Beauty Editor. She enjoys traveling, spending time with her squad, and of course exploring cosmetic stores and sampling new products.
A graduate of Universidad de la República Uruguay, Paula works as a developer and all-around web expert at L&T. Prior to joining L&T, she has worked at LATU, Dynamia, and The Electric Factory on countless projects. When she's not working with our Bilbao team, Paula teaches database management and programming. She's also a music lover, sings in a Uruguayan 'murga`` group, and loves to cook, read, and watch TV and movies.
Jake works with our clients and L&T's content management team to create and publish cogent, effective marketing content. A recent graduate of Yale University with a B.A. in American Studies, Jake pursued independent research that traced the evolving voice of ``Shouts and Murmurs`` over ninety years. When he's not writing and editing, Jake is probably watching The Crown or making up for four years of lost pleasure reading. Thanks, college.
