Jonathan is the former Director of Search Engine Watch, and under his stewardship, the search engine publication’s readership grew to over 1.4 million and won the Gold Azbee National Award for “Online Excellence, New or Relaunched Web Site” from the American Society of Business Press Editors. Jonathan also previously co-founded Moblog:tech, which received the Experimental & Innovation Webby Award, the Community Engagement Award at the MediaGuardian Awards for Innovation (MEGAS), the Royal Television Society’s On The Move Award, and 3 BAFTA nominations. Jonathan has spoken at the largest digital marketing conferences in the world — SES New York, SES San Francisco, SES London, SES Chicago — as well as PubCon, KoreaComm and SIPA. He has also provided industry commentary on breaking news for the BBC, the Boston Globe, and Deutsche Welle.
A partner of Columbia Entrepreneurship at the Columbia Startup Lab and a 2010 graduate of Columbia University (CC’10), Cooper oversees a growing international team that works around the clock to get clients results. He has extensive leadership and team-building experience from his time as the CMO of a real estate startup. He excels as a marketer and strategist — qualities he refined and developed as the founder of e-commerce businesses in the sports and subscription spaces. With the founding of L&T, Cooper brings these strategies and insights to companies worldwide. He participates in Princeton University’s Employer in Residence program, serves on the Columbia Startup Lab’s leadership committee, and speaks on industry panels about entrepreneurship, marketing, and startups. On occasion, he teaches web marketing at General Assembly.
As L&T's COO, Remy directs client strategy and project delivery across three offices on two continents. A founding member of the Columbia University Startup Lab, he previously worked in the editorial departments at Publishers Weekly and S&P Global. A guest expert for the National Business Education Association, National Association of Realtors, and TBG's PR Stars Program, Remy has a wealth of experience executing content marketing, digital transformation, and brand marketing strategies for our clients. He also regularly contributes commentary on the latest in digital to publications such as Entrepreneur, business.com, and Social Media Today.
Before joining L&T, Grace spent several years in public relations and brand communications at publishing giants like Condé Nast, Hearst Magazines Digital Media, and Simon & Schuster. In her role as content manager, she leads cross-functional projects to deliver consistent, valuable, and engaging content for client audiences. A reluctant west coast transplant, Grace lives in Brooklyn and spends a majority of her free time curled up with a good book.
A graduate of Skidmore College, Jamie supervises all client projects at L&T, serving as a content strategist, account manager, and editorial lead across a wide range of industries and fields. His subject matter specialties include, but are not limited to, the digital economy, PPC and social media best practices, and multichannel marketing strategies.
A graduate of Dartmouth College, Hilary joined L&T after several years in publishing at Simon & Schuster. A member of the editorial board for the Off the Shelf book blog, her writing has been featured on the Huffington Post and other publications. At L&T, Hilary manages content strategy and production, collaborating with writers, editors, and clients to ensure consistency in quality. In her free time, Hilary is an avid reader and live music enthusiast.
Ryan is L&T’s top creative mind and voice, supervising editorial quality and the on-boarding of new content experts and brand journalists. He’s also responsible for the production of high-profile content initiatives, ranging from industry white papers to expert commentaries for top digital publications like Inc and TechCrunch. Also a graduate of Kenyon College, Ryan previously served on the editorial board of the political magazine, the Kenyon Observer, and co-founded the Fabulist, an undergraduate literary publication.
Reuben works to unify L&T's business and talent strategies. He believes that an organization is only as good as its people, and he strives to create a culture that supports L&T’s top asset. Prior to working at L&T, Reuben consulted for organizations including Fortune 20 corporations and nonprofits. He has also facilitated trainings on executive coaching, effective communication, mindful awareness practices, and working with personality assessments. He holds an M.A. in Organizational Psychology from Columbia University, and a B.A. from UCLA. In his free time, he enjoys exploring bodegas, sauntering, drinking seltzer, and doing yoga.
An experienced writer, editor, and strategist, Margot produces high-quality content for a diverse set of B2B and higher education clients. Before L&T, she worked with a boutique brand strategy team that advised companies like eHarmony, Verizon Ventures, and Walmart Technology. Margot holds a B.A. in Environmental Studies from Yale University, where — other than conducting some original research about food security in Connecticut — her life was eerily close to the plot of Pitch Perfect.
At L&T, Luke organizes and executes analytics-based marketing campaigns to reach new clients and build strategic partnerships. Luke graduated from Stanford University's Research Honors Track in Political Science, where he wrote a senior thesis applying machine learning to study trends in Mao-era Chinese political media. Out of college, Luke ran a content-driven grassroots political campaign for City Council in his hometown of University City, Missouri, and received 46% of the vote. Fun fact: Luke has been featured in print and on television in mainland China.
Having originally joined the company as a writer in 2013, Oliver currently works as a full-time member of L&T's sales team to prospect, nurture and help close sales leads in the US and UK markets. Oliver is a graduate of the University of Liverpool and is a prolific musician and author.
A graduate of Missouri State University with a degree in Computer Information Systems, Andrew was L&T's very first St.Louis hire. As a key contributor to our SEO, sales, and analytics operations, Andrew manages data analysis, reporting, and search engine optimization projects for our clients while providing key sales support for our business development team. Andrew is a St. Louis native who spends his free time watching Cardinals games and finding the best burger joint in the city.
Originally hailing from Uruguay and a graduate of Universidad ORT, Andrés runs design and web development at L&T, generating original, interactive graphics and designing professional publications across a range of industries. In the past, he has also done work for countless major brands, including Google, Coors Light, Lego, Axe, Nissan, Samsung, Electric Factory, and Salesforce. His other interests include surfing and film photography.
Tom helps L&T deliver effective, compelling creative by designing professional publications and graphics. In the past, he has done work across a range of industries and his writing has been featured in USA Today. Before joining L&T, Tom studied Journalism and Graphic Design where he developed his skills in digital communications and print design. When he's not hard at work spinning up original designs, Tom loves to hike, draw and teach himself how to surf.
A graduate of the University of the Basque Country with a degree in Creation and Design. Carlota works on web development and graphic design projects at L&T. Before joining the company, she worked at a number of design agencies while focusing on packaging, branding, and illustration. In her free time, she enjoys doing calligraphy, watching the latest TV series, and having a good time with her dog, Kyra.
Following many years in academia and a few forays into publishing, Chris joined L&T as a Content Associate in the summer of 2017. Drawing on his extensive learning and painstaking commitment to stylistic excellence, he's responsible for commissioning, editing, and revising blog posts, thought leadership articles, and white papers for a wide array of clients, in addition to serving as a point of contact for L&T's staff writers. A product of NYU and Columbia University, he divides his time between New York and his native Seattle.
Jake works with our clients and L&T's content management team to create and publish cogent, effective marketing content. A recent graduate of Yale University with a B.A. in American Studies, Jake pursued independent research that traced the evolving voice of ``Shouts and Murmurs`` over ninety years. When he's not writing and editing, Jake is probably watching The Crown or making up for four years of lost pleasure reading. Thanks, college.
Since earning a degree in Religious Studies from Occidental College, Thomas has dedicated himself to preaching the content gospel. He originally joined L&T as a freelance staff writer, but has since transitioned into his current role, wherein he writes for a wide variety of clients and helps craft content direction for a chosen few. In his spare time, Thomas enjoys reading philosophy, supporting Everton FC, and frequenting all of New York City’s finest cinemas.
A current student at Harvard University studying Government and Mandarin Chinese, Julia joins L&T as a Growth Strategy Intern to pursue her passion for consulting and business development. A former member of the USA Debate Team, she's now an associate in the Harvard College Consulting Group and a partner in Black Diamond Capital Investors, LLC, as well as a former research assistant at Harvard Business School and a junior consultant at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. In her free time, Julia loves to draw, watch Netflix, discuss politics, and eat McDonalds.
